ABOUT ME
I'm currently a senior at the University of Southern Mississippi studying journalism. I currently work as the news editor for our student newspaper, the Student Printz. I have an interest in learning and writing about culture, human rights, and environmental issues.
When I first arrived at college, I was still unsure of what I wanted to do with my life. I knew that I wanted to make a difference in the world, even if just a small one. I also had a love for writing. These two interests led me to major in journalism, which has impacted my life in many ways. Through the work of my classes and the Student Printz, I have learned much about the value and importance of news and journalism in society.
As a journalist, I would like to bring attention to issues that often don’t receive the attention they deserve. I would also like to give a voice to those who are often not heard.
